A business people get.
What makes your idea worth choosing? Letโs find it, put it into words and give your brand a voice that feels like you. From a first offer to a fresh direction, the work starts with understanding your business.
Your business might start in a WhatsApp chat, an Instagram post or a kitchen after hours. Where it goes next deserves some serious imagination. CollectiveInc brings creative thinking and practical AI support to emerging South African businesses.
Running a small business means being the ideas person, the marketer and the one replying to every message. Weโre building CollectiveInc to help you find a clearer direction, put useful tools to work and make space for what comes next.
What makes your idea worth choosing? Letโs find it, put it into words and give your brand a voice that feels like you. From a first offer to a fresh direction, the work starts with understanding your business.
Drafting content. Organising enquiries. Making repeat tasks less of a mission. We look for practical ways AI could help your business, with human judgement behind the choices and you in control.
Whatโs taking up your day?A few plain lines, or a voice noteโs worth. No pitch deck, no polish needed.
During South African business hours, with a few good questions and an honest view of whether and how we could help.
What we would work on, who does what, the cost and the terms, in writing before anything starts.
That โwhat ifโ
could be your
next big thing.
Scribbled in a notebook. Lost in your voice notes. Still living rent-free in your head. Letโs give that idea somewhere to go.
A product that stopped growing. A business that outgrew its first plan. An idea you set aside when life got busy. Tell us where it stands. There are three ways we can work on it with you, and each one is agreed in writing first.
Sometimes an owner decides it is time to let go. If you want to sell and hand over all rights, tell us. We only take a product on when it can be profitable and be run and maintained with AI.
Selling through TikTok, WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook? Still figuring out your first offer? Tell us what youโre working on and where you could use a hand.
Weโre shaping a South African company around the people who see a possibility and decide to do something about it. CollectiveInc brings business thinking, creative direction and practical AI into the same conversation, so an emerging business can find its next move.
The original idea was a collective: South African businesses sharing knowledge, opening doors and helping each other move forward. That spirit is still the starting point. The name is a statement of intent: bring different perspectives together, make knowledge useful and give each business space to keep its own identity.
The side business after a full dayโs work. The homegrown brand finding its voice. The entrepreneur turning conversations into customers. These are the people we want to work alongside.
AI opens up new ways to create, organise and experiment. Our approach is to connect those possibilities to the everyday needs of a business, without losing the personality that made it worth starting.
Weโre drawn to the idea that makes you pause, the everyday problem begging for a better answer and the person brave enough to ask, โWhat if we tried it differently?โ Thatโs where our energy goes: asking good questions, getting creative and finding a next step worth taking.
The experience behind CollectiveInc comes from working with digital products: seeing how people use them, where they help and where they fall short. Working with those products has shaped the questions we bring to a business: What does the customer need? What makes the offer clear? Where does the experience become frustrating? Today, weโre applying that perspective to a broader ambition: helping emerging SMEs strengthen their brands, organise how they work and explore what AI can make possible.
CollectiveInc uses artificial intelligence for research, writing, design, building and everyday admin, and we expect the same of every business under our umbrella. People stay in charge: a person decides what goes out, signs what matters and answers for the result.
Our own first product is being built this way, hand in hand with the thinking we bring to other businesses. What we learn goes straight back into how we help you.
Founder ยท The Collective Mind
Milano is the person who hears โitโs just a little ideaโ and immediately has follow-up questions. Several, usually.
Having worked with people, teams and digital products, he started CollectiveInc with a conviction: South Africa has plenty of imagination. More of it deserves the support to become something real.
He brings a curious mind, a candid voice and a willingness to rethink the plan when a better idea walks into the room. Through CollectiveInc, heโs exploring how creative thinking and practical AI can help emerging businesses find their feetโand their own way forward.
He takes peopleโs ambitions seriously, himself a little less so, and believes you shouldnโt need a polished pitch to start a worthwhile conversation.
Bring the idea. Even the version youโve only explained in a voice note.
A local service, a homegrown label, a community idea or an online shop can all begin with the same question: how do I turn this potential into something that works? Our interest reaches across industries. The common thread is a person who understands their audience and is ready to do the work.
Over time, we want to bring ambitious businesses together around shared thinking, useful tools and practical support. Each should have its own voice, its own customers and a clear reason to exist. The collective should make those differences stronger.
Today, our focus is on opening the right conversations with emerging South African SMEs. A clearer offer, a more coherent brand or a task that could work better is a meaningful place to start. Progress needs something concrete to build on.
Our approach connects the business idea to the people it needs to reach and the work it takes to deliver. These are the questions we want to explore together.
Who is this for? What do they struggle with, want or keep asking for? Start with their reality.
Make it easy to understand what you do, why it matters and how someone can buy or get involved.
Choose a useful task, try an appropriate tool and check the result. Keep your judgement in the loop.
Put a manageable first version in front of people. Use their responses to decide what to improve.
Your business has its own context. Good ideas for it start with good questions.
A tool earns its place when it helps with something that matters to you.
Your voice, judgement and relationships belong at the centre of the work.
Start with something manageable. Learn from it. Decide what deserves to grow.
South Africa is our starting point, with Africa in our ambitions. We want to work with businesses across our communities, from a first social page to an established SME ready for a new direction. The opportunity is bigger than digital products. Itโs in the people building something of their own.
Weโd like to hear it. Bring your knowledge of the problem, your ambition and the part you havenโt figured out yet.
Notice possibilities other people miss? Enjoy turning a messy idea into something useful? As CollectiveInc takes shape, weโd like to meet people who care about small businesses and bring imagination, judgement and follow-through to the work.
We see AI as part of how weโll work, alongside people who ask better questions, challenge the output and know when a human touch matters. There are no open roles at the moment. If you freelance, or you are early in your career and think we would work well together, introduce yourself. We keep introductions on file and get in touch when work comes up.
Engineers who understand people. Writers who ask good questions. Analysts who make the answer make sense. These are the skill areas we want around CollectiveInc as we grow.
Expressions of interest for future opportunities. We read every introduction. There are no open roles at the moment, so this is not a job application, but we keep each introduction on file and get in touch when a project fits. If we do work together, the scope, pay and terms are agreed in writing before anything starts.
Make clever things useful.

That idea you keep coming back to. The business youโve started between everything else. The brand you know could become more. Tell us where you want to take it, and letโs explore what we could do together.
Weโre interested in the person behind the idea as much as the idea itself. You might know a community inside out, have a knack for solving a particular problem or already be selling something people love. Bring that understanding. Letโs work out where it could lead.
Your understanding of your customers, your experience of the problem and a willingness to try, listen and adjust. You can come with a rough idea or a business thatโs already finding its feet.
We can explore the offer, the brand story, ways to reach your audience and practical uses for AI. The aim is to identify a useful first piece of work that fits your business and the resources available.
The headline is plenty. What is the idea, who needs it and why do you believe in it? Plain language is perfect. You can start without any paperwork.
Milano reads every message and replies himself, within 2 working days, during South African business hours. You get an automatic note straight away so you know it landed.

Not every idea is a fit for us, and we may not be the right partner for every one. If we cannot help, we will tell you honestly, and why. CollectiveInc is in its first chapter, and any formal partnership is discussed and agreed separately, in writing.
It protects both of us. Both sides sign by hand, in pen. Download it, complete Schedule 1, initial every page, sign, then photograph the pages and attach them below with your info pack. We check them, tell you if anything is missing, countersign and send you the fully signed copy.
